After being a founding member of Riptide since 2023, Paul has shown time and time again that he will do whatever possible to put Riptide's name out there. From his first time doing a competition series in Drift Indy's very own Street League and taking home the championship win to trying to go to every new track possible. He has been the sole reason Riptide made it through 2025 while Gary and Bryce were sorting out their cars.

Paul has put everything on the line countless times, from buying “the rig” so the team has a nice place to sleep, to completely draining his bank account to the point where his card declines states away on the way home from a Street League round.

On track, the desire for consistency and eye for line choice that was gained from 19 years of racing motocross shows. Whether it be throwing it as wide as possible to stack up behind him, or hunting marked out zones lap after lap you can be sure to never guess where he is going to position the car in front of you. If he’s behind you count on seeing the flash of strobing lights in every mirror and feeling the occasional bump from a tire rub if invited, because he’s going to be all over you with zero sympathy for his car watching and learning what you do lap after lap.

Paul will forever live and breathe Riptide, he will be the reason this team goes down in the history books.

If you find yourself being blinded by strobe lights in your mirrors on grid and see “2’s” out the window you can have have faith that there’s going to be a tight chase run, and expect him to want to flip flop and run it back with you over and over and over followed by a solid fist bump and a smile in the pits.

Before

Since 2019 you could find Paul at the track, either catching a ride along or stuntin in C group. With dreams and aspirations to achieve the level of teams like Front Street or Blood Masters it was only a matter of time until he reached A group and started to look for people to take driving a little more seriously. Sharing the same vison as Gary it was a near perfect fit.

Now

After founding the team back in 2023, Gary has dumped a relentless amount of time and effort into his car. Sporting a new oem 2jz-GTE short block from Toyota paired with a machined GE head and 50mm Garret turbo infront of a marlin crawler R154.

Gary brings the detail to the team. Without him, we might miss things otherwise overlooked. Even with kids of his own, he still finds the time when he can to pitch in working on other peoples cars.

If you are ever in grid behind this guy do not be afraid to throw 2’s out the window, because he will lead anyone around the track with no hesitation.

There’s a certian level of “no bull” mentality around this guy and it shows in the way he drives and the way he puts his cars together. Expect no tricks and no gimmicks, because its all business front to back.

Before

Gary has been driving for a total of 9 years, with about half of those years spent being apart of DreamState. With multiple Vibes! appearances as well as Final Bout SSE showings he is no stranger to being apart of something bigger than himself. After DreamState dissolved in 2023, he was left looking for the next step, and this was it.

Now

Joining in 2025, with his first official year in his own car Bryce has shown that with enough sim seat time and ridealongs it is possible to pick up drifting with no seat time of your own and instantly throw down. The Smile Death Challenge 2025 was the first time driving with the rest of the team, and he clearly showed up to show out for everyone. Although his 2000 E46 is not the quickest car on the planet, he is able to provide a strong lead line for the rest of the team to follow. Staying cool calm and collected while two veteran drivers put their tires all along his doors.

Bryce has time and time again proven to everyone that he is the heart of the team, without him and his ingenuity the team would often find a struggle. You can typically find him laying either upside down under the dash in Paul’s G35 or under it trying to figure out whatever is broken now. Or making sure that The Rig is fully tuned up to hit the road. As well as running full sprint from the grandstands to rip whatever parts fell off his teammates car to get them back on track.

All in all, the best crew chief anyone could ask for. And someone who will give the shirt off his back for his people.

Before

Before picking up a car of his own, Bryce would always be tagging along to the track to hangout. Either driving down with friends just for the day or staying the weekend in the back of whatever car he was driving at the time, he was there. After owning his car for a few years and not doing much with it he figured it was time to join the action.

The Rig

@mtvcribs

Now

This 1994 Thor Residency does just as much for the collective as any of us. Dubbed “The Rig”, she is tasked with providing a mobile operations center for the entirety of the team and anyone else who chooses to come along. With the hottest water known to man, and a full kitchen, she supplies everyone with the means to be comfortable and focused in any situation. Nothing makes her more happy than letting that big block sing while overweight across state lines.

Without her we would be living like cavemen, she’s the most valuable asset on the team.

Before

Before joining the group, she lived her life towing a dirt sprint car across the country. Used and abused, she was desperate for some care. The stories this thing could tell…

There's a white canopy tent and a person in a red jacket walking in the background. The sky is dark and the area is lit by tall streetlights.
